"As the Syrian Democratic Forces, we address our people and the residents of the occupied areas of Girê Spî/Tal Abyad and Serêkaniyê/Ras al-Ayn: The time has come to liberate these regions from Turkish occupation and to transform Syria into a unified country free from the ambitions of occupiers.
Therefore, we call upon the fighters and families of the Turkish-affiliated factions, who have submitted to occupation for years and fought against our people under the Turkish flag, leading Syria to destruction and ruin, to seize this final opportunity offered by our leadership. We urge them to return safely to their towns and cities in Syria’s interior regions, where they originally came from.
The Turkish occupation shows no regard for the lives of Syrians and has turned northern Syria into a hub of terrorism, threatening our homeland and the entire region. Turkey aims to exploit the Syrian civil war to occupy the entire Syrian geography. Let us join hands to drive this occupation out of our lands. A Syrian’s true ally is their fellow Syrian.
Any fighter or individual wishing to safely return to their regions or to the areas under the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria will be welcomed. Our forces and the Autonomous Administration pledge to ensure the safe exit of families and to protect them without harm. We guarantee to support these families until they reach their destinations safely.
